NavigAbile project validation with end users and content providers started in September 2007. 25 end users in each country, supported by 5 professionals, are using NavigAbile services in their daily activities to evaluate NavigAbile features and opportunities for people with cognitive disabilities. Two content providers in each country, are developing websites using NavigAbile services to make their content available also to people with cognitive disabilities.
NavigAbile validation with end users started in last September in Italy, Spain and Sweden with the selection of end users and the training of involved professionals. Validation in Greece is starting in these days. At least 25 end users and 5 professionals are using NavigAbile services in daily communication and education activities.
In the same time also validation with content providers was launched.
2 websites in each country will be made completely accessible also to people with cognitive disabilities through NavigAbile services.
Activities are going on and the early results of such activities will be presented in Rome on next 12th February in an international workshop aimed at spreading NavigAbile results to the community. Policy makers, scientific researchers, clinicians and end users representatives will take part in the event.
